About Rubisco

Our Story

Where innovation and nature work together

At Rubisco, we are reimagining the future, where innovation and nature unite. Rooted in nature's regenerative cycles, we transform natural fibres into revolutionary materials. From regenerative agriculture to innovative design, our natural materials work in harmony with the earth, offering high-performing solutions that connect us to nature through sustainable innovation.

Led by over 50 years of passion and expertise in farming and textiles, Rubisco transforms agricultural wisdom into textile innovation. Our team unites generations of knowledge, care and innovation, ensuring that our products embody more than just materials: they are a testament to performance and sustainability.

Today, our high-quality yarns are sold globally, elevating the finest carpets in private aviation, exclusive homes and renowned fashion houses. Our wool was selected for custom carpets in the Tom Ford store in Milan, showing how our commitment to innovation transforms luxury design.

Sourced from dedicated farms in Canterbury, our wool is part of responsible sourcing programmes, telling a story from grower to product. Our partnership with Kalogridis highlights our dedication to authenticity and transparency.

Our philosophy

Progress should never come at the expense of nature

Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that natural materials are essential to a better way of living. At the core of everything we do is a commitment to sustainability, innovation and responsibility.

Collaboration is key. We actively seek out partnerships with like-minded innovators to push boundaries and find better ways of doing things, from farm to final product.
